How do produce boxes work? They're just like a pay-as-you-go CSA (and all proceeds go toward next year's produce operation). You may order a box up to and I will fill it with whatever is available. If you have specific requests, I'll do my best to honor them. Boxes will be filled with diverse produce and will represent our fruits and vegetables at their best. Occasionally I may throw in an extra something that I wish to share with my produce crew.
Examples of other extras you may find in your box, depending on how my season goes are:
- jellys, jams, preserves
- pickles
- fresh oyster mushrooms
- tomato sauce
- fresh baked goods
- easy-prep pizza crusts (i'll include recipes, too)
- perennial plants (if desired)
- Icelandic sheep wool (if desired)
- granola
When you come to pick up your produce you have the option of bringing your own box or borrowing one from me. If you borrow from me I ask that you leave a $5 deposit as all of our boxes are handmade wood and we would really hate to lose them.

Tomato Totes - $10
As soon as the tomato harvest is in full swing we will begin offering tomato-totes for those discerning tomato connoisseurs that wish to purchase only our heirloom tomatoes. Every week you will be able to pick up your small tote of ripe rare heirloom tomatoes, complete with a newsletter that lists the variety and characteristics of each. These tomatoes are carefully grown and provide a tasty bite of history, and are all varieties that are open pollinated which means no hybrids and no genetically altered tomatoes! We will have slicing, canning, cherry, grape, pear, beefsteak and oxheart tomatoes! Check back or email me for more information.
